Reason #10: HOST of the MOST! September 16th, 2016 will see the release of Jesse Blaze Snider’s FIRST SOLO ALBUM, “16” which contains SIXTEEN unique tracks including the last track on the album, “Twisted” which is about working in the superficial entertainment industry as the child of a celebrity. A long haired “Jesse" begun his professional entertainment career beamed into American homes SIX DAYS A WEEK as the host of MTV2 Rock and the MTV2 Rock Countdown. Jesse performed at least one interview a week for a year, working with artists like Marilyn Manson, Blink 182, 311, All-American Rejects, Rancid, Godsmack, Nickelback, Evanescence, Brand New, Saliva, The Used, Yellowcard, Jet and the list goes on and on. Later, “Jesse Blaze" would take the internet by storm launching AOL’s TOP 11 COUNTDOWN, cohosting the show through it’s 100th episode and broadcasting to millions across the country. Eventually, a mohawked “Jesse Blaze Snider” would reappear to take on the gaming world, first as a video blogger & game reviewer for LOCKERS.com and then as the main host of Sony Playstation’s QORE, available exclusively through the Playstation Network. Through it all, Jesse was hosting panels at comic conventions, eventually hooking up with Wizard World for a spell and hosting all of their top billed guests, like Norman Reedus, Billy West, Avery Brooks, Michael Rooker, Sam Jones, Laurie Holden, John DiMaggio, John K, Chris Claremont and countless others. Plus, Jesse began judging their weekend cosplay contests! Jesse would later show up on the premiere episode of “Heroes of Cosplay” on SyFy alongside his pal, actor, MMA fighter and fellow cosplay judge, Jason David Frank. Jesse has hosted dozens more shows for networks from HBO to Fuse, as well as great runs on New York radio hosting for The Bone and the World Famous WLIR, but for Jesse, his highest hosting achievement to date would have to be…the host of THE DESIGNER TOY AWARDS! Jesse has been a toy collector, wait, scratch that, a toy PLAYER since he was small and somehow…he never really quite grew out of it. It was a great day when Jesse was approached by Clutter Magazine and began to tap into all the seemingly useless toy knowledge that had been going to waste inside the recesses of Jesse’s mind for decades! Presenting an award to one of Jesse’s favorite sculptors Andrew Bell in 2015 was the highlight of Jesse’s hosting career so far. The end of 2016 will see him partner with one of his best friends for DASH RADIO’s “COOLEST MEN ALIVE with Tory Ireland Mell and Jesse Blaze Snider”…! Stay tuned.
