My brother Cody Blue Snider is a brilliant film maker and in 2010 he did me a great honor adapting a script for an unpublished comic book I created into his award winning short film, ALL THAT REMAINS. My brother has been a fan of my music and writing since he was little, before anyone else. He was one of the first people in my life to really give me his attention and a lot of positive feedback. He spoke about making a few of my story ideas into films one day, this made me feel great, but I never imagined it would actually happen. When Cody asked me for a copy of my script for a comic book I’d created called, “Citizen D” I never thought it would go any further than that, but a few months later production on “All That Remains” began. Cody re-wrote the script and added in some of the ideas I had shared with him that I hadn’t written yet, as well as a ton of his own ideas about the concept, which were brilliant. I came on as the "Associate Producer" ready to do anything necessary to help make my brother’s film a complete success. I emptied garbages, picked up actors, crew, food and equipment, did some art direction, helped with special effects and every clean up and tear down, but my proudest moment was rewriting the final narration for the film, days before it was recorded along side my brother, Cody Blue. I hope to continue to create and collaborate with him for the rest of my life, he’s an incredible film maker and an amazing good hearted human being. We’re actually working on a feature screenplay right now! So, so far so good. When shooting wrapped on ALL THAT REMAINS in 2009, my brother still had a long journey to the premiere. Post production was really tough on him and I know he learned a lot of hard lessons which he would soon apply to his next even MORE successful short film, “Fools’ Day” but the end result of all his blood, sweat and tears working on this film is nothing short of astounding. I was then and I remain incredibly proud of him and honored to have played a small part. Please enjoy my brother’s multi-award winning short film, ALL THAT REMAINS.
