Watch: SNIDER'S VIRAL BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT!

So, my song, “Wickedly Wild" has become inaccurate thanks to the speedy arrival of my FOURTH child, Parker Pryde Snider! She was born while I was speeding to the hospital on the 405 Freeway in Los Angeles, August 7th, 2016! Ironically enough, "Parker" was NOT named for being born on the parkway. Like her siblings before her, "Parker Pryde" is named after comic book characters, specifically Peter Parker, the Amazing Spider-man and Kitty Pryde, aka Shadow Cat, the intangible heroine from the X-men. Parker’s older sister Logan Lane is also named for an X-men character, Logan aka Wolverine and also Superman’s Lois Lane, who I think is the greatest female role model in all of comicsdom; a career oriented woman in the top of her field since the late 1930s! That's sexy. My two boys are no exception, my oldest is "Cassidy West", named for one of the main character’s in Garth Ennis’ Preacher series, "Cassidy", the Irish Vampire (who himself is named for "Butch Cassidy" I'm pretty sure) and "Wally West", the original Kid Flash, who went on to become the legit Flash when his mentor Barry Allen died in the "Crisis on Infinite Earths” storyline. My younger son "Grayson Wayne" is named after my favorite character, Nightwing, better known to you as the original Robin, "Dick Grayson" and of course "Wayne", named after his mentor "Bruce Wayne", Batman. I wanted to actually name him “Grayson Batman Snider” but the wife drew a line. Actually, even my family dog is named after super heroes, “Cage Fury” may be small, but he’s made of sturdy stuff. Named for Marvel’s Luke Cage and Nick Fury respectively. Me, myself am named after the cowboy Jesse James and the Ghost Rider, Johnny Blaze! Truth be told, my father has denied my being named after the Ghost Rider, but where else would a young, comic book reading Dee Snider get the inspiration from? Born "Patricia Donna Storey”, “Patty” or “Party” as she sometimes likes to be called is the only member of our family without a comic book based name, but my wife is the true super hero of the family, as you shall soon see... bit.ly/JBSparker
